‘The Voice’ 13 Top 8 Power Rankings

It’s bloodbath week on The Voice, which means get ready for dreams to be crushed and contestants to be robbed. Our remaining eight contestant will perform for votes this coming Monday, and four will survive on Tuesday to move on to next weeks’ finale.

I have my gripes about this round, especially how the show insists on spending so many weeks on the blind auditions and middle rounds when it could easily cut one or two for late game. However, that decision is not up to me, so it’s time to see how I see this awful elimination round going down by sharing my power rankings of the contestants. Check them out below.

8- Adam Cunningham (Team Adam)- I’ve had Adam at the bottom of my power rankings for three weeks in a row now. I’m pretty sure this is going to be as far as he goes.

7- Davon Fleming (Team Jennifer)- I really doubt he’ll survive. It’s never a good sign for a contestant’s longevity in the game if they need to sing for their lives in the early live rounds.

6- Brooke Simpson (Team Miley)- I love Brooke, but i think her shooting to the top of Itunes was a one time thing. This week, I unfortunately see her in real danger of going home. I’d love to be proven wrong however.

5- Keisha Renee (Team Blake)- I still don’t see her winning, but there’s definitely a possibility she could make finale night.

4- Noah Mac (Team Jennifer)- Noah used to be my predicted runner-up, but now I see him just barely reaching finale night. I think with a subpar performance he could be in serious trouble this week.

3- Red Marlow (Team Blake)- Every season there’s that one country artist that I don’t quite get but there are tons of silent voters that keep pushing them through week after week. This season it’s Red, and since I’ve severely underestimated such contestants in the past, I’m going to go out on a limb and say he makes finale night.

2- Addison Agen (Team Adam)- I love Addison’s voice, but I don’t think she’ll be the winner anymore. There is still definitely potential for that to change, but she’d need to have a major moment this week to get there. I think second is where she’ll end up finishing.

1- Chloe Kohanski (Team Blake)- It’s between her and Addison for the title at this point. My personal bias aside, I’m giving Chloe the edge because if Addison makes finale with Red, I see some vote splitting going down. Either way, I see Chloe taking it all this season. She’ll have deserved it.

So that’s how I rank the contestants. How do you? Who is your favorite contestant, and which one do you think is definitely going home this week? What are your thoughts on how The Voice handles its live rounds? Let me know in the comments!
