News was shared earlier today that Ellen’s Game of Games has been renewed for a second season by NBC. The gameshow, which is helmed by Ellen DeGeneres herself, has been making headlines ever since its debut.
“Ellen’s enthusiasm and energy is utterly infectious,” Paul Telegdy, an NBC official, said of the show. “It’s been exciting to watch her antics supersized on a primetime stage. Audiences love spending time with her, and we know she’ll continue to raise the bar with even bigger games and more hilarity as the show continues to grow.”
The announcement was made at the Television Critics Association winter press tour. 13 episodes have been ordered for the second season. The first season had been receiving strong ratings throughout its airing.
Further details regarding an airdate are still yet to be announced.
